Martian Courtnie

We used Photoshop to create a landscape scene. We used the brush tools mostly.

We created this light saber on Photoshop. I used the pen tool, gaussian blur, color balance, poly lasso tool to create all the effects. It was a really fun and different project. It was also very difficult.

Zooburst

We created a children's book on a website, Zooburst. You searched for pictures and you dragged them on the page. You can change the colors of everything on there. My book was teaching children the different animals. It was a fun project and allowed us to be really creative.

We used Illustrator to create a Halloween word. We used the same techniques as our names, but we could add pictures around the word.

Bomomo

We used Bomomo to create these designs. You pick a random tool at the bottom and move it across the screen so make weird designs. It was really fun and very distracting.

We created our symbol name on Adobe Illustrator. We used the fill and stroke options to fill the letters with pictures and make an outline on each picture. We used the anchor points around the letters to reshape them.

I used Adobe Illustrator to make this cartoon character. I used the shape tool to make everything but the skirt. I used the fill tool to make the colors.

Name

I went into Photoshop. I typed my name, and then used to magic wand tool to select the letter I wanted. I picked pretty floral designs from google and also random things from my own pictures. I put them into the letter by selecting an area on the picture, copying it, and then pressing paste-special so it would go into the letter.

Ocean Scene

I used Photoshop for this project. I used the polygon tool or the quick selection tool to outline the objects I inserted. I used the brush tool to draw shadows for the objects I entered into the picture.

I picked a nature scene off of google. I used the quick selection tool to outline the dog, tire swing, and bird into the photo. I used the brush tool to draw shadows for each of the objects.

Principles and Elements of Design Prezi

I made this presentation on Prezi. We had a group project where we had to go around the school with QR codes and find examples of elements of design. We had to find examples of a line, gradiation, color, etc. It was a really fun and unique project and allowed us to leave the classroom and get a little bit more creative.

Comic

We used a website to create our own comic strip. We picked everything from the background, to the characters, and dialogue. It was a really fun project.

Facebook Pros and Cons

Facebook is a tricky thing. It definitely has its good sides and its bad sides. I really like being able to keep in touch with family that I don't normally see. And it is fun to see some of the pictures people post. I hate some of the drama that occurs with it. I have had to clear my friends list at least  five times because some of the people on there. People that I've never even heard of try to add me on a daily basis or they put dumb things in their name. Ex. Michayla Screaminofthedeamon Cupid, Jason Ilikecookies Rife, Paige Dontmesswitme Lola. It is ridiculous and a waste of space. I really only use Facebook for trading shifts at my job. We have our own personal page that we swap shifts, give away shifts, and vent about our managers. Overall, I have really mixed feelings about Facebook and try not to get on too much.
